Steve is a serial technology and media entrepreneur. Over the last 18 years, he has been a senior executive and invested in, grown and sold Internet companies to Yahoo, AOL, Comcast, Adobe and Groupon. He is also an active investor in affordable housing projects in the United States.
Steve seeks the road less traveled and plays outside the bounds of the typical. He deeply enjoys mountain biking and hiking, engages in numerous entrepreneurial activities and never settles for good enough. He strives to experience the best of what life has to offer and values memorable experiences far more than material goods. Most that know him well would say he is down to earth, grounded, has a good sense of himself and abhors conformity. Friends describe him as intuitive, never dull, fun, funny, adventurous, independent, a huge animal lover (active in both animal rescue and animal conservation programs), intense, creative, ENTJ, data-driven and opinionated. He loves film, literature, hip hop and lounge, traveling, exercising, the outdoors, intellect, banter, fine wine, Scotch, his fabulous Yellow Lab (a rescue, of course), and phenomenal food. He prefers intimate settings (home, dinner parties, smaller social gatherings) to large crowds, stimulating conversation…and dry British wit. Steve is also a huge Star Wars fan/nerd and has a minor speaking part as an Imperial Captain in the next Star Wars movie, Rogue One (comes out December 16, 2016).
Steve grew up in Beverly Hills, graduated from UC Berkeley and received his JD/MBA from the University of Southern California. He currently resides in Pacific Palisades.
